Jelgavas Roņi are ready for the 11th World Championship

From 6 to 10 March 2018, Tallinn will host the 11th Winter Swimming World Championships 2018.  To date, almost 1,300 winter swimmers from 35 countries have been registered, of which 47 participants will represent Latvia. The team of Jelgavas Roņi unites 28 winter swimmers who will compete at 10 distances from 25 to 450 meters in ice-cold water 0С degrees in the heart of Tallinn, where an outdoor pool will be organized in the harbor of Old City Marina.

This event is part of the program for celebrating Estonia’s 100th Anniversary and the Tallinn City and Estonia as an attractive destination for cultural tourism.
